INTERNAL MEDICINE
& CARDIOLOGY
Classic Cardiology and Internal Medicine involve the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions and diseases of the internal organs. This includes both acute and chronic conditions. Some of the most common health issues addressed in cardiology and internal medicine are cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and arteriosclerosis, along with other diseases affecting the internal organs.
In our approach, we focus on a holistic perspective that takes into account not only the individual’s lifestyle but, most importantly, their personal needs. The goal is to provide the best possible treatment and improve the patient’s quality of life.
CARDIOLOGICAL CHECK
Through active early detection and treatment, the risk of cardiovascular diseases can be significantly reduced. We especially recommend this examination if you are already known to have risk factors such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
EXAMINATION OF CHEST PAIN
More and more younger people are experiencing chest pain, which is now the most common reason for visiting an emergency room. Early evaluation is crucial to rule out the possibility of developing or advanced heart conditions.
TREATMENT OF CARDIAC ARHYTHM DISORDERS
Do you experience a racing heart or palpitations at rest, during exercise, in certain stressful situations, or in your daily routine? Do you already suspect a heart rhythm disorder? We will clarify this using the latest diagnostic methods.
ELECTROCARDIOGRAM (ECG)
This is a painless monitoring of the electrical activity of the heart.
24-HOUR BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING
High blood pressure is the most common risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and thus the leading cause of death. Approximately a quarter of the world's population suffers from high blood pressure, and among those over 70, the number rises to three-quarters.
Due to the often absent symptoms, high blood pressure is also referred to as "the silent killer." Additionally, many people with hypertension are not optimally controlled despite taking medication.
HEART ULTRASOUND (ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY)
Echocardiography, also known as heart echo or heart ultrasound, is an ultrasound examination of the heart and one of the most important imaging procedures in cardiology. This examination allows the assessment of the wall motion and condition of the heart muscle, as well as its function.
EXAMINATION AND THERAPY OF HEART WEAKNESS
Shortness of breath (at rest or during exertion), swollen legs, fatigue, circulatory problems, and sleep disturbances can be symptoms of heart failure. With us, you will receive optimal advice and care regarding this issue.
ULTRASOUND
CAROTID DUPLEX (NECK VESSELS)
The neck vessels supply the brain with blood. This ultrasound examination checks for the presence of thickening or narrowing, which could lead to a stroke.
ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND (ABDOMENSONOGRAPHY)
During this ultrasound examination, the liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, urinary bladder, and pancreas are visualized.
THYROID ULTRASOUND
In this examination, both the size of the organ and any changes in the tissue, such as nodules, are assessed.
INPATIENT CARE AND INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY
As an interventional cardiologist, I also arrange for your inpatient admission and personally conduct all necessary internal and cardiological examinations on-site (including coronary angiography, stent implantation, cardioversion, and transesophageal echocardiography).
